SORRY FOR the delay in closing the Friday 10.22.22 Float Plan...about 8 hrs at the helm...made dinner and watched TV and fell asleep.

Left Lake Cove in the Honga River and had a little "chop on the water for about 3 hrs. Later water was smooth.  This was contrary to previous forecasts which caused us to cut our voyage agenda.

Just before nightfall we anchored in the protected waters of Cox Creek on the East Side of Kent Island (Eastern Bay Side). We covered 66.5 miles averaging 7.5 mph.

The previously designated anchorage on the SE corner of Kent Island was aborted because of a wind shift from the E.

Cox Creek is deep, long and can support a fleet of anchored vessels!  We anchored in 8 ft. using 60 ft of chain and a 55# Mantus anchor.  Little wind at all.

On Saturday 10.23.2021 SIGMACHI will hoist anchor and upon exiting Cox Creek into Eastern Bay turn North into Crab Alley Creek, pass through the drawbridge at Kent Narrows into the Chester River.  There are supposed to be 5-10 mph NW winds tomorrow.  That would be right on our bow, nothing for SIGMACHI,  as we head to either Home Port at Nabbs Creek Marina or to nearby Maryland Yacht Club to refuel.... maybe even anchor out there.  This is our final planned multiple day cruise for 2021.

We will fill in parts of the cruise on our blog...Views from the Crew...SIGMACHI
