Views from the Crew of SIGMACHI 19.12.27

We are truly on our way South aboard SIGMACHI...Jeanne, Alan, and Molly(our cat)...Today we crossed State lines we are in North Carolina!

Jeanne and I anchored Sigmachi at Bell Pt. in Currituck Sound... about 70' of anchor rode in about 10' of water..55# Mantus  anchor deployed.

Just SW of where the Knotts Island/Currituck ferry crosses Currituck Sound, North Carolina.

Wind tonight supposed to be 5 MPH...we are in the lee of the mainland on the West.

We left late from Chesapeake because of fog.

Will proceed past Coinjock, NCand cross Albemarle Sound tomorrow for Alligator River. Wind supposed to be light in morning out of the N. E.

Filled fuel tanksat Atlantic Yacht Basis this morning with 89 gal of diesel.  We loaded up at Olverson's Lodge Creek Marina  when we started the trip on the Yeocomico River off of the Potomac River ...Northern Neck of VA.  I think that's pretty good for JT 671Ns diesels going at an average of 7.6 mph.

While staying at Atlantic Yacht Basin I had a reunion with my "adopted brother" Brian Lineberry.  Brian and I met in Norfolk and formed a bond between a Sigma Chi and  Knight Templar...  picture attached.  Jeanne and I enjoyed Brian's visit!

Tight Lines and Happy New Year!
